Character Education Celebration:
October 13, 2009
At WES, we celebrate our Kids of Character each month to honor our children who display the specific trait for the month. The Character Education Committee celebrated on Friday, October 2nd for our children who displayed Respect throughout the month of September. At the celebration, the children decorated pumpkins, socialized with their peers, and were able to enter in raffle contest. At the end of each quarter, the children who were chosen as a "Kid of Character" enters in a contest to win various board games and Watervliet gear (i.e. bags, headbands, etc.).
