Welcome to the Watervliet Schools Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program's new webpage! The Watervliet Universal Pre-Kindergarten program is a collaboration between the Watervliet City School District and Albany County Head Start. The Watervliet CSD currently operates three full day UPK classrooms. All three classrooms are located at Watervliet Elementary School and employ Head Start teachers. The classrooms are staffed by NYS certified pre-K educators and teacher aides. Please read on to see our latest news!

• Announcing Registration  for the Watervliet City School District Universal Pre-K March 10-12, 2010 at the Watervliet Elementary School!The Watervliet UPK/Head Start is a FREE full day pre-k program. The hours are 8-2 pm and breakfast and lunch are included. Before and after school care will be available for a fee provided by the Civic Center. Please call 629-3263 to set up an appointment. Applications are available in the main lobby of the Elementary school and by clicking here
