Kindergarten registration for the 2008-09 school year will
be occurring on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25.
Your child must be five years old on or before December 1,
2008 to meet eligibility requirements for Kindergarten.

Procedure for
Kindergarten Registration:
STEP 1 - Make
your appointment
Call the school at 629-3400 and make
an appointment for registration. Appointments will be held
on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25 between the hours
of 8:45 am and 2:00 pm. Plan to spend 45 minutes to an
hour at this appointment, and you will need to bring your
child with you.
STEP 2 - Fill
out all required paperwork
Stop by the elementary school office
between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm to pick up a
registration packet. OR you can
click here to download the
registration packet and print off the required forms at
home. All paper work must be filled out before you
come for your appointment.
STEP 3 - Come
for your appointment
Please be sure to bring the following
items with you to your appointment:

Your
child - He or she will work with a teacher to
go through some fun and easy screening tests for
placement purposes.

Your child's
birth certificate
-
Your child's
social security number
-
Proof of
immunizations
-
Parent/Guardian photo identification
-
Proof of
residency - the following are acceptable
forms of proof of residency

Certificate of Occupancy (can
be obtained by calling your landlord/property owner)

Lease agreement
-
Residential Occupancy Permit
(can be obtained by calling your landlord/property
owner)

Mortgage statement under
parent/guardian's name
-
We no longer accept utility
bills
-
Custody papers, if applicable
-
If the student is not
your biological child, documentation must be
presented which proves a permanent and total
transfer of custody and control have been achieved.

Court orders regarding parental custody arrangements
-
Orders of protection
-
Notarized letters or
petitions for custody are NOT acceptable.
