Our MasterMinds team performed very well during the November 5th meet at Mohonasen High School in Rotterdam. Cannoneers played 2 games and won them both with a very high 560 total points. Such an outstanding performance allowed us to be placed second in the league right behind current state champion Guilderland High School.
This is the best record of all times since MasterMinds started at Watervliet in 2005. First a very close game against Duanesburg High School, when we were losing at the half 50 - 70 but pulled of a victory at the end with 155 over 100 and a second game against a host team - Mohonasen High School with overwhelming score of 180 over 70. Our record after only two meets is 3 and 1 with a total of 560 points.
Special thanks to our seniors: Captain Sarah Schelde, Kevin Angus, Kyle Divinichi, our juniors: Robert Heffernan, Tyler Gregory and Syed Hussain and their coach Mr. Berin. We are proud of you for representing VLIET so well.
