STUDENTS GET THEIR CHEER ON!

Members from the Varsity Football and Varsity Basketball Cheerleading Teams participated in a National Cheerleading Association home camp at the elementary school August 23 - August 25.

They learned new cheers, chants, dances, and stunts while also being taught new ways to warm up, improve jumps, and ways to motivate the fans during games.

The girls were judged each day on their performance. They earned three excellent ribbons and one superior ribbon for their performance during the three day camp.

The girls that participated were Meg Hogan, Chelsie Clickner, Bridget Hogan, Alexis Banks, McKayla Davies, Solomia Myshchuk, McKayla Davies, Tabitha Shevy, Alicia Auleta, Shey Bennet, and Natalie Meyer.

Six girls were nominated to try out for the NCA All-American Team. Those girls were Meg Hogan, Chelsie Clickner, Bridget Hogan, Alexis Banks, McKayla Davies and Solomia Myshchuk. Two of the six, McKayla Davies and Solomia Myshchuk, made the NCA All-American Team.
