Twenty-one students were inducted into the Ellen Bevins Chapter of the National Honor Society at Watervliet High School on May 18.

On May 18, family and friends gathered in the Watervliet Jr./Sr. High School auditorium to proudly witness 21 students be inducted into the to the Ellen Bevins Chapter of the National Honor Society. View photos

Current National Honor Society members welcomed the new inductees during the ceremony and spoke of the values that represent the organization, including scholarship, service, leadership and character.

With the new inductees, the current number of National Honor Society members totals 60 students.

During the annual ceremony, the high school also recognized World War II veteran and life-long Watervliet resident Robert Gusberti as an honorary inductee into the NHS.
