Students participate in the "Square-Off" dance contest, which is the culmination of the square dancing unit at the Jr.-Sr. High School.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM

The objective of the physical education program at Watervliet City Schools is to assist students to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and mentally through participation in a variety of activities. The program is organized so that each student has the opportunity to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, lifetime activities, and personal physical fitness programs. Courses and activities are reviewed each year and modified, if needed, to meet the needs of the students.
