Free and reduced priced meals

Applications for free or reduced-price meals are sent home the first day of school and should be returned the following day to the school cafeteria manager. You can also download the application by clicking here. Applications for free or reduced-price lunch may also be completed anytime during the school year when a family’s income changes. Parents may wish to take advantage of the cafeteria’s Advance Payment Plan by sending money weekly or monthly. If your child is absent from school, you are responsible for deducting money the following week. Please make checks payable to the Watervliet School Cafeteria.

School Lunch Charge Policy:

The School Board has established a Meal Charge Policy for the Watervliet School District’s Lunch Program. Students are allowed to charge three meals without payment or contact from their parents. After the three charges have occurred, with no note or phone call from the parent/guardian, the cafeteria will serve these students peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and milk, which constitutes a complete lunch.
