Facility Use and Rental Fees

Watervliet City School District is open Monday–Saturday. Sundays are available for revenue-generating rentals only. Payment is due (in full) a minimum of 1 week prior to facility rental.

WJSHS Turf Field & Track*

  • Group I (district/city sponsored) = no charge
  • Group II (50% Watervliet participation) = $125 / hour (no lights), $150 / hour (with lights)
  • Group III (non-affiliated with district/city) = $175 / hour (no lights) $200 (with lights)

WJSHS Gymnasium*

  • Group II (50% Watervliet participation) = $125/hour

Watervliet City School District Field Turf Rules & Regulations

Please review the following rules and regulations for renting the Turf Field.

  • Food of any kind is prohibited.
  • Water is the only beverage allowed; all others are prohibited.
  • Sports drinks that contain sugar are not allowed.
  • Gum is prohibited.
  • Nuts and sunflower seeds are prohibited.
  • Tobacco and alcohol products are prohibited.
  • Animals are prohibited.
  • Metal spikes/cleats and high-heeled shoes are prohibited.
  • Screw-in cleats with a maximum recommendation of ½”.
  • Burning materials of any kind are prohibited.
  • The uses of sharp objects or golf clubs are prohibited.
  • Only authorized maintenance vehicles are allowed on the turf field.
  • Marking or painting on the track, turf or any of the facility playing surfaces s strictly prohibited.
  • Moveable markers, such as cones and hurdles are allowed upon receipt of permission from the district Athletic Director.
  • Profanity, boisterous behavior or other objectionable behavior is prohibited.
