Salary: $18.47 – $20.78 per hour, per WSSA contract
Job Description:
- Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.
- Assist the teacher to ensure a safe and supportive educational environment.
- Work closely with the cooperating teacher and school team to ensure the students receive the appropriate services, modifications, and accommodations throughout the school day.
- Supervise and support students, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification is required.
- Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to demonstrate job expectations.
- Appointment subject to fingerprint clearance.
