Salary: $ 17.54-19.64 per WSSA Contract
Job Description
- Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.
- Assist the teacher to ensure a safe and supportive educational environment.
- Work closely with the cooperating teacher and school team to ensure the students receive the appropriate services, modifications, and accommodations throughout the day.
- Supervise and support students requiring a shared aide per their IEP.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Civil Service position – candidate must reside in Albany County or neighboring county
- Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to demonstrate job expectations.
- Appointment subject to fingerprint clearance.
