Register a Student

Are You New to the District?

Student registration for Watervliet schools is completed by appointment only at the district’s Central Registration Office, located at Watervliet Elementary School. To schedule an appointment, call 518-629-3204 or email Danielle Mele.

To expedite the registration process, we encourage parents or guardians to call ahead to arrange to pick up a registration packet from the Registration Office. Many of the forms necessary to register students are available for download and may be completed ahead of time.

Please complete one packet per child being registered and bring the completed forms along with the required residency documents — see the list of items below — with you to your registration appointment. Without the listed documentation, we will not be able to complete the registration process.

If you are having trouble accessing the registration packet files above, please contact the district registrar at 518-629-3204 or email dmele@vlietschools.org and arrangements will be made to provide an electronic or hard copy of the documents.
