Consistent school attendance is critical to learning, and is a right and a responsibility. The Watervliet City School District recognizes that partnering with students and parents/guardians will help to ensure students achieve academic success. Students who attend school in-person will have their attendance tracked by our student information management system (e-School). Attendance personnel will make daily phone calls home to students who are absent from in-person or remote learning. Students will continue to be supported in a variety of ways through our support and mental health staff. Based upon referrals and results, interventions will be available and offered to identified students.
