Q. Why was my child selected for the ExTRA program?
- Students were selected based on multiple measures including state test scores and reading and math proficiency data that was gathered in the spring. Please note that state test results will be mailed home to families by week’s end and that AIS letters will be mailed in the next two to three weeks as we finalize data collection for beginning of the year assessments.
Q: Can my child attend an ExTRA program extracurricular activity if they are attending WES after-school clubs?
- Yes. All students are eligible as space allows.
Q: Can my child still participate in the ExTRA program if they are in band, environmental club, communication, etc.?
- Yes. However, due to limited space, priority will be given to those students who have no more than one weekly conflict. Please note your child’s conflicts on his or her permission slip.
