Mission

The goal of the Watervliet Jr. /Sr. High School Library Media Center is to ensure that all students become competent, critical and ethical users of information.

It is our mission to prepare lifelong learners; “Information Literate” citizens able to determine their information needs, recognize relevant information, solve problems, effectively communicate the results of their research, and reflect upon and assess the process.

We endeavor to model our school’s shared values and beliefs: Respect and Integrity, success of all students, high expectations and continuous improvement.
