We are proud to announce that four of our varsity winter sports teams (photos below) achieved scholar-athlete status from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). To receive this honor, at least 75% of the team’s roster must earn an average 90% or higher during the season.
Thanks to our student athletes, coaches, staff, parents and guardians for prioritizing academics and making this achievement possible! We congratulate the Boys Basketball, Varsity Girls Basketball, Varsity Bowling and Varsity Cheer. In all, 36 individual winter scholar-athletes earned a GPA of 90 or above.
Qualifying teams will receive certificates and individual students will be awarded pins to mark these accomplishments. Congratulations to all!
