Special Persons Night at Watervliet Elementary School was filled with smiles, laughter and hugs! During this always-popular event, elementary students invite the special people in their lives to visit their school, meet their teachers, and share classroom projects they have worked on throughout the year.
The celebration of learning included the following grade-level projects or themes:
- Kindergarten – Plants
- Grade 1 – Living Organisms
- Grade 2 – Butterflies
- Grade 3 – Neverland
- Grade 4 – Famous New Yorkers
- Grade 5 – 50 States Scavenger Hunt
Students, their families and special guests also had an opportunity to view artwork in the hallways, and participate in STEM activities in the library.
