Many families, friends, coaches and staff joined together to celebrate the standout performances, leadership, sportsmanship, and achievements of our student athletes during Varsity Athletic Awards Night on June 3. The annual end-of-year sports awards ceremony honors the dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm that our Cannoneers consistently demonstrate on the field, the court, or the track.
The following seniors received awards in various categories to recognize their contributions to the Watervliet Athletics program as they prepare to graduate and move forward to their next chapter. Congratulations to all as well as to longtime health/physical education teacher and wrestling coach Dennis Lane who was awarded Coach of the Year!
