Anthony has placed in the top 5 in all of our Patroon meets, placing 1st in 2 of them. He holds himself to a high standard and pushes everyone around him to get better.

Ka’Shiya McQueen: Volleyball

holds an awards certificate

Coach Michelle Deguire commends junior Ka’Shiya McQueen for embracing her new role as a serving specialist on the varsity volleyball team with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.

Ka’Shiya willingly shifted into the role of serving specialist because she recognized that it was what the team needed. Rather than focusing on individual goals or playing time, she has embraced an opportunity to make a difference in the team’s success. She has demonstrated maturity in accepting her role, working hard to excel in it, and supporting her teammates every step of the way.
So far this season, Ka’Shiya has recorded 108 serves, 59 service points, 27 aces, and only 8 errors—a reflection of her consistency, focus, and commitment to excellence. However, her impact reaches far beyond the statistics.
Her willingness to put the team before herself, maintain a positive attitude, and give her best effort every day exemplifies true sportsmanship. On and off the court, Ka’Shiya represents the values of teamwork, perseverance, selflessness, and excellence that make a student-athlete an outstanding representative of her team and school.
For her commitment to her teammates, her consistent effort, her excellence in her role, and her understanding that team success is greater than individual success, Ka’Shiya McQueen is an outstanding example of sportsmanship, effort, and excellence.

Malachi Prince: Soccer

holds an awards certificate

Coach Paul Travers speaks highly of sophomore Malachi Prince, whose dedication, character, and commitment to excellence make him an outstanding student-athlete both on the field and in the classroom.

Malachi Prince is a tremendous example of what it means to be a student-athlete. He is a hard worker who is consistently prompt and prepared for practices and games, and he leads by example both on and off the field. Malachi practices and competes with great effort while also excelling in the classroom, maintaining an overall average above 90.
