Connecting the Dots in Tech Ed … Classroom Learning to Real-World Careers

Education specialist Mark Harris from Allendale Machinery Systems Inc., visited Watervliet Jr.-Sr. High School’s technology classroom in December to demo a few high-end manufacturing tools — including a fully automated robotic arm, a CNC lathe and a CNC mill — giving students the opportunity to see this advanced industry equipment in action.

The exposure gave students a firsthand look at how the programs and skills they’re learning in class translate to real-world manufacturing careers. Experiences like this help inspire the next generation of skilled professionals and prepare students for the future.

A shoutout to Mr. Harris and to Allendale for this learning opportunity!
