We learned of three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our school community since our last update. One member of the elementary school community and two individuals from our junior/senior high school community have tested positive for COVID-19.
Contract tracing was completed as per Albany County Department of Health protocols, and all individuals identified as having potential exposure at school have been notified.
VACCINE WEBINAR FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Albany Medical College Community Grand Rounds will host a virtual presentation regarding the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine for children from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13.
Parents, guardians and teachers are invited to join the virtual presentation, which will be followed by a Q&A.
Presenters include Katie Goodspeed, Colin Duell and Jamie Harkey, along with expert commentators Dr. Brittany Taylor, MD – Internal Medicine and Pediatrics; and, Jenna Pitera of Albany Medical College.
