March 19 Update: Three confirmed COVID-19 cases

This week, we learned of three individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 in in our district. Two individuals participate in our remote learning program. The health department has identified no additional contacts with either case.

The third case involves an individual from the Watervliet Elementary School community. The health department has advised that no contact tracing was required with this case based on when the individual was last in the building.

We strongly encourage students, families and staff members to continue to practice safety protocols outside of school, which include limiting group gatherings, practicing good hygiene, wearing masks and following social distance guidelines.
