Summer Meals Program for 2023

The Watervliet City School District will offer free meals for children 18 years old and younger during the summer, beginning June 26 at Watervliet Elementary School and the Watervliet Civic Center, and July 5 at all other locations listed below. More information

Lunch will be available at several community locations. Breakfast and lunch will be available at Watervliet Elementary School, Watervliet Jr.-Sr. High School, the Watervliet Civic Center and Green Island UFSD.

The summer meals program runs through August 18 at most sites.

Free Meals for children 18 years & under

The Watervliet City SD announces its participation in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Meals will be provided to all children 18 years and under without charge. In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program conducted or funded by USDA.
