Varsity baseball player strikes out 21 to set new school record

Varsity baseball player in uniform with ball in gloveCongratulations to varsity baseball player Zayden Crouse for his 21 strikeout game vs. Berlin-New Lebanon.

On April 6, the 11th grader pitched 7 and 2/3rd innings striking out 21 batters This accomplishment breaks the previous school record of 19 in a game, and also ties him for second best all time within Section 2 as well as 8th all time in New York State, which is quite the accomplishment given that state records go back as far as 1932!
