WES fourth-graders celebrate autumn fun at CDTA Annual Fall Festival

Watervliet Elementary School fourth-graders were among the hundreds of area school children who experienced autumn fun at the Capital District Transportation Authority’s (CDTA) fifth annual Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 4.

Watervliet fourth-grade classes traveled by CDTA bus to the region’s public transportation hub for some fall-themed fun featuring demonstrations by the New York State Police Dive Team and safety tips from area local law enforcement agencies. During the festival, students also enjoyed a hayride around the CDTA property, bounce houses, face-painting, carnival games, balloon twisting and a petting zoo with an adorable baby kangaroo!
