ExTRA Program Offers Homework Help, After-School Clubs Starting Oct. 12

The ExTRA (Extra Time Raises Achievement) Program is an after-school program offered by the Watervliet City School District to support student success and engagement in school.

This program provides homework and classwork assistance four afternoons per week Monday-Thursday, followed by an optional hour of club activities. For the 2021-22 school year, we hope to have every student in grades 6-8 signed up for Homework Help. Students in the program who are passing their classes will be encouraged to stay after school when needed. Those in the program who are failing 1 or more subjects will be highly encouraged to stay each day. Study Tables will be available to high school students. Students are encouraged to use this support as needed.

Programming will begin on Tuesday, October 12.
