Oct. 5 Update: Grades 11-12 Students to Shift to Remote Learning for Oct. 6-7

A rise in COVID cases and the number of individuals who have been advised by the Department of Health to quarantine has created a temporary shortage of teachers and staff in the upper grade levels at Watervliet High School. As a result, ALL students in grades 11 and 12 will switch to remote learning for Wednesday, Oct. 6 and Thursday, Oct. 7.

That means for the next two days, all grades 11-12 students should log onto their Chromebooks to access Zoom links for virtual class meetings for their core classes (English, math, science and socials studies) at their regularly scheduled times, and access Google classroom for assignments for their elective classes as posted by their teachers. (Please note: Zoom meeting links will be updated as soon as they are available.)

ALL grades 6-10 students will continue with in-person learning as scheduled.

We thank you for your continued cooperation and support of our schools as we work together to make this a safe, healthy and successful school year for our students, staff and families.
