Watervliet High School seniors had an opportunity to complete the college application process free of charge and be accepted on the spot to Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) for the Fall 2023 semester during Instant Admissions Day.
Thirty college-bound seniors met with HVCC admissions counselors to complete their applications and learn more about the academic pathways available to them at the two-year school. Students expressed interests in a number of associate degree programs including early childhood education, engineering sciences, individual studies (liberal arts), and nursing/health sciences.
HVCC has articulation agreements with over 250 four-year colleges and universities for students interested in transferring credits to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
