Spring into action: Make your appointment today!

It’s a great time to spring into action and donate blood at our American Red Cross blood drive on Wednesday, May 21 at Watervliet Jr.-Sr. High School from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This spring blood drive will take place in the Watervliet Jr.-Sr. High School gym. We encourage high school students and staff members who wish to donate to email Dennis Lane to schedule your appointment in advance to reserve a time that is convenient for you.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Please join us in making a difference by participating in the next week’s blood drive, hosted in collaboration with the American Red Cross! Appointments are encouraged and appreciated. Together, we can make a positive impact and contribute to the health and wellness of those in need.

The Red Cross reports that about 20% of the blood used in the U.S. is donated by students and one donation can save up to three lives. By donating, you’re not only helping save lives but also supporting the wellbeing of our community.
