Due to the frigid temperatures this week, the Watervliet City School District will provide additional transportation opportunities to and from school for district walkers in grades 7-12.
Wednesday, January 3 through Friday, January 5, the school district will offer transportation to and from school to walkers at the following times and locations. Please note that the additional bus stops will be located on the north side of 19th St. and 3rd Ave. and 19th Street and 6th Ave. at the times listed below.
Bus runs may vary by a minute or two, but it is imperative that you are timely if you plan to catch one of the three buses. Students participating in school breakfast should plan to take one of the first two bus runs.
Bus Run #1 – Bus 3A
Pick up at 19th St. & 3rd Ave at 7:20 a.m.
Pick up at 19th St. & 6th Ave. at 7:21 a.m.
Bus Run #2 – Bus 2A
Pick up at 19th St. & 3rd Ave at 7:35 a.m.
Pick up at 19th St. & 6th Ave. at 7:36 a.m.
Bus Run #3 – Bus 1A
Pick up at 19th St. & 3rd Ave at 7:50 a.m.
Pick up 19th St. & 6th Ave. at 7:51 a.m.
All three buses will be available at dismissal to drop off walkers at the same locations on 19th Street.
