WES Principal stepping down

Watervliet Elementary School Principal Loida Lewinter has decided to step down from her position, effective January 2019. Mrs. Lewinter has served as the elementary principal since the 2016-17 school year, and was the assistant principal at Watervliet Jr./Sr. High School for several years prior to that. Mrs. Lewinter is leaving the position to be able to spend more time raising her young family. She has been an outstanding school leader who will be missed.
