Dozens of new trees take root in the city thanks to WJSHS Character Ed students

On November 5, students from Watervliet Jr.-Sr. High School’s Character Ed program teamed up with the Watervliet Housing Authority and Capital Roots to plant 35 trees in the city. WJSHS receives funding to expand hands-on learning in manufacturing education

Watervliet Junior-Senior High School students will soon have the tools needed to build their skills with the latest in manufacturing technologies thanks to a generous grant from the Gene Haas Foundation.
